Getting started with nancit
What nancit is, how to try it as a guest, creating your account and your first few minutes in the workspace.
What is nancit?
nancit is the AI for business. Instead of clicking through menus, you can simply tell nancit what you need: “add Acme as a new client”, “draft a quote for Sarah’s website redesign”, “what invoices are still unpaid?” or “reply to Thabo and say Thursday works”. nancit finds the right records, prepares the work and shows it to you before anything is saved.
Everything you need to run a small business lives in one connected place: clients and contacts, leads, products and services, invoices and quotes, finance, documents, email, calendar, AI workers and workflows. And you can always do any of it by hand too: every page has its own buttons and forms.
Try it as a guest
You can use nancit without an account. As a guest you can create invoices and quotes, ask nancit to draft or change them, and download or print them as PDFs. Guest work is temporary: to save documents and use clients, email and the rest of the workspace, sign up.
Create your account
- Go to nancit.com and choose Sign up.
- Enter your email and choose a password (or use Continue with Microsoft or Continue with Google where shown), then follow the steps on screen.
- Once you’re in, you land on the chat, ready to go.
If someone on your team invited you, use the link in your invitation email instead. It adds you to their business.
Find your way around
- New chat: start a conversation with nancit.
- Inbox and Calendar: your connected email and calendar.
- Clients and Contacts: the companies and people you work with.
- Sales: leads, products & services, quotes and invoices.
- Finance: money received and what is still owed.
- Documents: your saved invoices, quotes and uploaded files.
- Workers: AI workers that do repeat tasks for you (on plans that include them).
- Trash: deleted records, kept for 30 days.
- Admin (admins only): your team, business details, branding, fields, workflows and lead forms.
At the bottom of the sidebar, your business name opens Settings, Account and Help.
Your first five minutes
- Add your business details and logo in Admin, so they appear on your invoices and quotes. Or just tell nancit: “update our business address to…”.
- Add a client: “add Acme Ltd as a client, contact Sarah Jones, [email protected]”.
- Create your first quote or invoice: “quote Acme for a website redesign, R15,000”.
- Connect your email from the Inbox, so nancit can help with replies and meetings.
Suggested next steps
Signed-in Home shows simple suggestion cards for important unread business emails, upcoming calendar events, recent worker results and Prospect leads. Email suggestions exclude authentication notices, login alerts and promotions. Cards use a limited recent sample, so they do not replace checking your Inbox or calendar. Lead follow-ups are suggestions, not recorded overdue deadlines. Choose a card to prepare an editable message, then send when ready. Suggestions stay stable for about four hours, including page refreshes. They update quietly after that; an item can disappear sooner if it is no longer eligible or available to you. There are no rotation controls, and cards stay still while you interact with them. You can also ask nancit for your suggested next steps.
